Innovations:
Ancient India invented and improved medicine, math, art, literature, and created things like the Taj Mahal.
They came up with sterilized cutting tools so they wouldn't get infected. They also used inoculation: where they gave a person a mild form of a disease so they wouldn't get it again, and more serious. The ancient Indian also developed a way to set broken bones a way to mend easier and quicker. They used skin from other parts of the body to fix ears and noses.
They used Arabic numerals and base numbers 1 through 9 and 0.
They collected poems and stories from all over. The Hindu temples had many frescoes (Paintings on wet plaster).
Mining is big in India and they built tools to use everyday. Science is something they have also helped develop. Surgeries and medicine is a big specialty there too. They created the following surgeries/medicines, traditional medicine, cateract surgery, leprosy cures, lithiasis treatment, visceral leishmaniasis treatment, plastic surgery, etc. They invented many things in science we use today like, Ashtecar variables (invented by Ashtecar), Mercurous Nitrite, Raman effect, and LOTS more.
India has developed a lot since when it first started. IT has added more to ideas on math, literature, science, architecture, medicine, and so much more. Since ancient India traded so much their ideas and tools/ innovations spread all over the world and influenced our society today... and still does.
